Our parents would appreciate any kind of support that would give them the opportunity to:<\/p>\n

Meet \u2013 you could help organise events, camps, hiking trips, musical, cinema or theatre events<\/p>\n

Free up time for themselves and their loved ones \u2013 give a babysitter https:\/\/www.ziedot.lv\/auklite-svarigiem-dzives-mirkliem-3945<\/a>; professionals or companies could donate services to pamper mums and dads, brothers and sisters; leisure facilities could give parents an opportunity to relax.<\/p>\n

Learn \u2013 speakers and organisers of lectures are welcome to collaborate to create meaningful and engaging content for families, the team and society at large.<\/p>\n

Definitely, a sense of security when they know the Children\u2019s Palliative Care Team is by your side, available all year round, at any time of the day or night. Being together \u2013 https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yfLgWudoj8M&t=74s<\/a><\/p>\n

How to support parents who are busy with providing care 24 h?<\/h2>\n

It requires a lot of resources from parents. We can certainly support parents in their everyday life \u2013 by talking, being together, sometimes just by being silent and hearing what Mum or Dad needs most at that moment. Conversations, being together, financial support in the form of donations to meet a specific need, activities that build strength, the attitude of peers, government support and many other things make up what we at the children\u2019s palliative care call \u2018Duka\u2019 (energy, strength)!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
